set_database_user_password

Change a MySQL database user's password, returning the user and the database it belongs to.

set_database_user_password

Description

Change a MySQL database user's password, returning the user and the database it belongs to. Take the user from list_databasesdata[].users (the prefixed username_dbuser name; the short name works too and gets prefixed). This changes only the password — it does not create a database or user (use create_database). A database_not_found means no user by that name exists on the account; call list_databases to see the real names.

Input

Name Type Description
input required string A domain, email, website URL or Inleed service id for the account. Resolved to the owning account; the resolved target is echoed back.
user required string The database user, from list_databasesdata[].users. The prefixed username_dbuser name, or the short name (the prefix is added).
password required string The new database user password (minimum 8 characters). Whatever you pass here is shown to the customer on the action card automatically, behind a Reveal button — do not repeat it in your prose, and do not call it temporary.
